Coil Master Tool Kit

When making new coils you will need a large range of tools to completely master the perfect builds. Finding tools and buying them, can be time consuming and expensive. Coilmaster has come up with the perfect solution and they offer a DIY kit with everything you would need to make your own coils.

Contents:

  • 1 x PU/EVA ZIP Tool Case to store all your tools
  • 1 x Niddle-nose pliers
  • 1 x Flush cutter pliers
  • 1 x Ceramic Tweezer (T1) so you can fire your coils while squeezing to perfection.
  • 1 x Pen Style Screwdriver kit
  • 1 x Elbow Tweezer (T3) to make all your adjustments.
  • 1 x Plastic Parts Box to store all your spare parts for atomizers
  • 1 x Ohm Meter to measure the resistance of your atomizers
  • 1 x Stainless steel scissors to trim your wicking material.
  • 1 x Pouch to store your Coil Master Coiling Kit (V2)
  • 1 x Coil Master Coiling Kit (V2) to build those perfect coils every time

Storage Case

The whole coil master DIY kit comes in a nice case. The case has an easy to use zip and opens easily and looks good. The one thing that is perhaps missing, is a little handle for carrying the case, as it’s not small. The case neatly stores all your tools in little compartments.

Coil Master Coiling Kit

The Coil Master DIY kit comes with Coilmasters famous coiling kit. This kit on its own usually retails for around $25. These coilers allow you to make the perfect coils time and time again, and this tool has become our go to tool for coil making.

The coiling kit comes with 5 different coiling heads in 5 different sizes and is easy to understand and use. Sizes: 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0mm.

Pen Style Screwdriver

With RDAs and RTAs having differing screw sizes, it is useful to have a wide range of screw heads. The Coil Master DIY kit has a neat pen style screwdriver with an array of different sized heads. The heads are well made and can be stored inside the pen, so as to not lose them.

I would have liked to have seen some hex bits with the screwdriver as many atomizers and mods use hex screws.

Ohm Meter

The Coil Master DIY kit comes with a little ohm meter that requires 2 AA batteries to power (these are not included in kit). An ohm meter is an integral part to any coil building kit, as you will need to check the resistance of your coils when you are making them.

The ohm meter in the DIY coil building kit, will measure resistances from 0.01-19.99 ohms. You can also check the remaining charge in your battery device with a 510 connection and voltage between 0.01 – 11.99 volts.

The ohm meter works well, but doesn’t feel like the highest quality device.

Ceramic and Elbow Tweezers

The ceramic tweezers with their insulated ceramic tips are great for squeezing your coils whilst heating them to remove any heat spots. Ours worked very well up until the point one of the ends of the tip broke off. We can still use them, but one side is missing a tip. The ceramic tips are replaceable, so should yours break like ours, you can just replace the tip.

The Elbow tweezers worked very well and can be used for a wide range of things. We use them for wicking the coils and perfecting the cotton placement.

Blunt Scissors

The blunt scissors are great for cutting cotton and work well. My only complaint is that they are quite stiff and have tiny holes, which makes them quite uncomfortable. If you have fat fingers you might struggle somewhat!
